Today we are going to learn Thai vocabulary about shirts – in Thai language most items you wear on the upper half of your body are called shirts of one description or another, this differs in English as we have specific names for each item. T
In Thai we say “sûa” means shirt. These following are many kinds of shirts;
เสื้อเชิ้ต /sûa chért/ shirt

เสื้อแขนยาว /sûa kǎen yaao/ long-sleeve shirt
เสื้อแขนสั้น /sûa kǎen sân/ short-sleeve shirt (polo shirt)
เสื้อกล้าม /sûa glâam/ Singlet
เสื้อกันหนาว /sûa gan kǎao/ Sweater
เสื้อยืด /sûa yûut/ T-shirt
เสื้อสายเดี่ยว /sûa sǎai dìaw/ Spaghetti top shirt
เสื้อเกาะอก /sûa gòr òk/ Strapless
เสื้อสูท /sûa sùut/ Suit
