How to order Thai food in Thai language and some common dishes

Hi everyone in this lesson we will learn how to order foods and the names of some Common Thai Dishes in the Thai Language.
aa-hăan Thai / อาหารไทย / Thai Food
To order Foods in Thai. We use this construction:
“ao ___(Name of food)___gàp ___(Name of food/Drinks)___”
ao means “want, take” we use this word to order foods or take things. ao always follows by a noun.
gàp means “and”
Example:
ao pàt gà-prao gài kài daao gàp gɛɛng-kiăw wăan (kráp/kâ).
เอาผัดกะเพราไก่ไข่ดาวกับแกงเขียวหวาน(ครับ/ค่ะ)
I would like to have fried chicken with basil leaves and fried egg and green curry.
ao kâawpàt gàp naámsóm (kráp/kâ)
เอาข้าวผัดกับน้ำส้ม(ครับ/ค่ะ)
I would like to have fried rice and orange juice.
Thai Common Dishes:
1.ต้มยำกุ้ง/dtôm-yam-gûng / = Lemongrass shrimp soup
2.ส้มตำ/ sôm-dtam / = Spicy green papaya salad
3.แกงเขียวหวาน/gɛɛng-kiăw wăan / = Green curry
4. ผัดไทย /pàt-tai/ = Pat Thai (Stir-fried Noodle)
5. พะแนง/pá-nɛɛng/ = Panaeng Curry
6. ผัดกะเพราไก่ ไข่ดาว /pàt gà-prao gài kài daao/ = Fried Chicken with Basil Leaves and Fried Egg
7. ผัดผักรวมมิตร /pàt-pàk-ruam-mít/ = Fried Mixed Vegetables
8. ยำวุ้นเส้น /yam wún-sèn/ = Glass Noodles Spicy Salad
9. ไก่ผัดเม็ดมะม่วงหิมพานต์ /gài pàt mét má-mûang-hǐm-ma-paan/ =Stir-Fried Chicken with Cashew Nuts
10. ปลานึ่งมะนาว /bplaa nᵾ̂ng má-naao/ = Steamed Fish with Lime Sauce
