Polite request | Help me!
The Particle word ด้วย/dûai/ is normally used in spoken Thai to make requests polite, for apologies and cries for help!
For example;
ช่วยด้วย/chûai dûai/ = Help me, please!
เก็บตังค์ด้วย/gèp dtang dûai/ = Can I have the bill, please?
ไปด้วย/yàak bpai dûai/ = I want to go with you.
เขาจะไปกับเราด้วย/káo jà bpai gàp rao dûai/ = She will go with us.
จริงด้วย/jing dûai/ = Uhm!!! That’s true.
Now if you in trouble you can say Help Me in the Thai language …I hope you will not need this too often :-).
