How to Give Directions in Thai

Hi everyone. In this online Thai lesson we are going to learn how to give directions  in Thai. In case when you need to use taxi and want to give directions to the taxi driver. You should instruction him bit by bit otherwise the driver may get confused. Don’t forget to practice to speaking Thai with the taxi driver na ka .

Thai Vocabulary | Directions

líaw /เลี้ยว                                                  to  turn

kwăa / ขวา                                                  right

sáai / ซ้าย                                                      left

líaw kwăa / sáai  /เลี้ยวขวา / ซ้าย                to turn left / right

chít –sáai/ kwăa / ชิดซ้าย / ขวา                  keep on the left / right

glàp-rót / กลับรถ                                           U-turn

jɔ̀ɔt / จอด                                                       to park / to stop

dtong-bpai / ตรงไป                                       go straight

lɛ́ɛw /ɛ́ɛw -gɔ /แล้ว , แล้วก็                            and then….
