Learn Thai: Phrases – ก็ได้ /gɔ̂ dâai/. This is Thai Phrase “อะไรก็ได้ /à-rai gɔ̂ dâai/”, usually shortened to “อะไร /à-rai/ ” alone unless “ gɔ̂ ” is
Whatever or I do not mind “à-rai gɔ̂ɔ dâi”
needed at the end of the sentence to describe how you feel about doing something = “I do not mind”.
1. kun jà hâi chán tam à-rai gɔ̂ɔ dâi
คุณจะให้ฉันทำอะไรก็ได้
You can ask me to do anything
2. chán chɔ̂ɔp gin à-rai gɔ̂ɔ dâi tîi mâi pét .
ฉันชอบกินอะไรก็ได้ที่ไม่เผ็ด
I like to eat anything that isn’t hot.
3. gin à-rai gɔ̂ɔ dâi tîi kun yàak gin.
กินอะไรก็ได้ ที่คุณอยากกิน
Eat whatever you want .
Wherever “ tîi-nǎi gɔ̂ɔ dâi ”
“tîi-nǎi ” = “where”, but when you use with, “gɔ̂ɔ dâi ” =“tîi-nǎi gɔ̂ɔ dâi”, this means “anywhere”.
1. rao pák tîi-nǎi gɔ̂ɔ dâi tîi yùu glâi chaai-hàat
เราพักที่ไหนก็ได้ที่อยู่ใกล้ชายหาด
We can stay anywhere that’s near the beach.
2. chán bpai gin kǎao tîi-nǎi gɔ̂ɔ dâi tîi mâi glai bɔɔ-rí-sàt.
ฉันไปกินข้าวที่ไหนก็ได้ที่ไม่ไกลบริษัท
I can go to eat anywhere that’s not too far from the office.
3. duan-nâa chán jà bpai tîi- nǎi gɔ̂ɔ dâi prɔ́- wâa mii wan-yút.
เดือนหน้าฉันจะไปที่ไหนก็ได้ เพราะว่ามีวันหยุด
Next month I can go anywhere because I have holiday.
