Thai Middle-Class Consonants? Do you know how to write the Thai Alphabet in Thai Script?
In this Thai Language lesson today I would like to teach you how to write these Consonants.
The Thai Alphabet is split into three classes of Consonants; High, Middle and Low. There are 44 Consonants in the Thai Alphabet. In this lesson, we will look at the Middle-Class Consonants.
Much like the letters of the English Alphabet the Thai Alphabet and Thai Script has a formal way of writing. Below I have tried to indicate the process to create the correct letter formation.
The 9 Consonants
1. ก /gɔɔ gài/
2. จ /jɔɔ jaan/
3. ด /dɔɔ dèk/
4. ต /dtɔɔ dtào/
5. ฎ /dɔɔ chá-daa/
6. ฏ /dtɔɔ bpà-dtàk/
7. บ /bɔɔ bai-máai/
8. ป /bpɔɔ bplaa/
9. อ /ɔɔ àang/
