How to say someone is characterized by something | Thai Prefix

In this lesson, we will learn Thai prefix ขี้/kîi/ and hope this lesson is helpful for learning some Thai grammar with us:)
The word “ขี้/kîi/” on its own means ‘shit’ but if you put this word before adjectives and verbs to describe people as ‘characterized by’ the attribute of the adjective or verb such as;
- ขี้เกียจ/kîi gìat/ = lazy
- ขี้บ่น/kîi bòn/ = complainer
- ขี้หึง/kîi h
ǔng/ = jealous person(in love) - ขี้โม้/kîi móo/ = boastful
- ขี้โมโห/kîi moo-hǒo/ = bad-tempered
- ขี้เมา/kîi mao/ = drunkard
At its most vulgar ขี้/kîi/ denotes various secretions of the body;
- ขี้ตา/kîi dtaa/ = eye secretion
- ขี้หุ/kîi hǔu/ = ear wax
- ขี้มูก/kîi mûuk/ = mucus
- ขี้ไคล/kîi klai/ = grime of the skin
And one more word that you will hear if you are giving too small a tip are ขี้เหนียว/kîi nǐao/ it means ‘stingy’;)
