Learn Thai Vocabulary “A lot, Much, Many” (มาก, เยอะ, หลาย) /mâak, yə́, lǎai/ 
As you may already know how to say many or very in Thai is “mâak” (มาก) you would say “pèt mâak”(เผ็ดมาก) which mean very spicy or “ rɔ́ɔn mâak ”(ร้อนมาก) which mean very hot. And today I would like to show you more words in Thai.
1. มาก /mâak/ = a lot, very (This word we put at the end of the adjective)
- kun pûut paa-sǎa tai gèng mâak (คุณพูดภาษาไทยเก่งมาก ) = You speak Thai very well.
- káo lɔ̀ɔ mâak (เขาหล่อมาก) = He is very handsome.
- wan-níi pǒm tam-ngaan yûng mâak (วันนี้ผมทำงานยุ่งมาก) = Today I was very busy working
2. yə́ = much, many (This word we use when we want to show that you have too much or too many things. Mostly we use this word with a Noun.)
Subject + (Verb/Noun) + yə́(mâak)

ûa-kuun-níi Jim dùum bia yə́(mâak) (เมื่อคืนนี้จิมดื่มเบียร์เยอะมาก) = Last night Jim drank a lot of beer. - wan-níi chán gin yə́(mâak) (วันนี้ฉันกินเยอะมาก) = Today I ate a lot.
- kruu mii nák-rian yə́ (ครูมีนักเรียนเยอะ) = Teacher has a lot of students.
3. lǎai= many, a lot (This word is used with a classifier. If you have already learnt about classifiers in Thai this word will be useful for you. Let us see the structure of this word and how to use it.)

ûan lǎai kon (เขามีเพื่อนหลายคน) = He has many friends. - pîi-sǎao s
úusûa lǎai dtua (พี่สาวซื้อเสื้อหลายตัว) = My older sister bought many shirts. - Jɔɔn mii rót lǎai kan prɔ́ káo mii ngəən yə́ (จอห์นมีรถหลายคันเพราะเขามีเงินเยอะ) = John has many cars because he has a lot of money.
