How to talk about different types of shops in the Thai language
Hi everyone.
In this Thai language lesson we will learn some Thai vocabulary about different types of shops or stores.
In Thai we call shops – ร้าน ráan. You can talk about any shop in the Thai language by taking the objects that are sold in the shop and then adding the word ráan at the beginning. Here are some examples:
Thai Shop Vocabulary
ร้านอาหาร /ráan aa-hǎan/ = restaurant
ร้านซักรีด /ráan sàk rîit/ = laundry
ร้านตัดผม /ráan dtàt pǒm/ = barber’s
