For foreigners who come from the countries where they are very strict with the traffic rules and have to be very cautious when they see the pedestrians walking on the streets. You will find it different here!
As a pedestrian here you have to watch out for the cars, buses even motorbike because you might get hit or ran over anytime if you are not walking carefully.
In your country the cars usually stop when they see a pedestrian at zebra crossing. But in Thailand it doesn’t work that way. The pedestrian has to watch out for the cars and check whether the road/street is clear to cross. Otherwise, they might end up in the hospital. What a sad thing that all the pedestrians in Thailand have to face!
