Thai Farmer | The Backbone of the Nation

Thai Farmer the Cultural importance to Thais

A farmer is an important person in Thailand. A farmer is a person who plants rice. He has a lot of rice for us to eat so we call him “The backbone of the nation”. He will plant rice in the rainy season and he harvests rice at the end of the rainy season. One farmer alone cannot harvest rice. He will persuade other farmers to help him. A farmer will sell rice to us and we shall have rice to eat. A farmer is a useful person for all Thai people.
