Thai Coconut Curry ต้มข่าไก่  dtôm-kàa-gài

ต้มข่าไก่ /dtôm-kàa-gài/ is one of the famous dishes in Thailand. It is a kind of curry with coconut milk, chicken, and mushroom. The soup is white with sour, salty, and smooth taste. There are many kinds of herbs in  Dtôm Kàa Kài, eg. galangal, kaffir lime leaf, lemongrass, lime, chilli.

ไก่  /gài/  =  chicken

สมุนไพร  /sà-mǔn-prai/  =  herb

ข่า  /kàa/  =  galangal

ใบมะกรูด  /bai má-grùut/  =  kaffir lime leaf
