How to use the word public in Thai language
Hello everyone! In this learning Thai blog, we will learn about the word “public” in Thai. Let’s check it out!
To say “public” in Thai is สาธารณะ /sǎa-taa-ra-ná/. You can use this words in some compound nouns.
For example:
โทรศัพท์สาธารณะ /too-rá-sàp sǎa-taa-ra-ná/ = public telephone
ห้องน้ำสาธารณะ /hᴐ̂ᴐng-nám sǎa-taa-ra-ná/ = public toilet
สวนสาธารณะ /sǔan sǎa-taa-ra-ná/ = public park
รถสาธารณะ/rót sǎa-taa-ra-ná/ = public transportation
