How to learn Ago Thai TimeAgo in Thai

Hello everyone,

I would like to introduce you to the word “ago” in Thai.

ago in Thai is “tîi-lέεw” (ที่แล้ว)

for example:

two days ago                        = sǒrng wan tîi-lέεw (สองวันที่แล้ว)

a week ago, last week        = aa-tít tîi-lέεw (อาทิตย์ที่แล้ว)

a month ago, last month = duan tîi-lέεw (เดือนที่แล้ว)

a year ago, last year          = bpii tîi-lέεw  (ปีที่แล้ว)

Let’s see some sentences.

I bought a new bag last week      = chán súu grà-bpǎo mài aa-tít tîi-lέεw

I went to Paris three years ago  = pǒm bpai Paris sǎam bpii tîi-lέεw

I was very sick two months ago = chán mâi sà-baai sǒrng duan tîi-lέεw
