Hi everyone, in this Thai lesson we will learn about the word jai which means heart, mind, spirit. In Thai we use the word jai ใจ as prefix or suffix for words that concern the mind and emotions. Thais can be very emotional you will here these words a lot related to love, work and even food.

The pattern is jai ใจ used as prefix word followed by an adjective .
Example :
Jai + dii ( good ) = jai dii
jai dii / ใจดี / good hearted , nice , kind
Jai + dam ( black ) = jai dam
