Thai Language Course Bangkok - Intermediate Course
The Intermediate Course is 30 Hours of study.
Students will acquire more vocabulary and patterns to become more functional in Thai life, learning how to express themselves in common scenes of everyday life.
Intermediate Course content includes:
- More vocabulary for everyday use, including names of months, names of the different colors
- Weather and climate: Thailand has two types of weather, hot and hotter. Consequently, the weather is always a topic of conversation
- You will learn about the names for the different Thai seasons
- Conversing with taxi drivers. You will start to learn how to give directions to your driver about where you want to go and how you want to get there. (Of course, your getting there quickly still depends on whether you have a reliable driver)
- Learn about Thai buses and to talk about Thai street traffic condition
- Asking for directions: As a newcomer to Thailand, this situation comes up frequently. In this lesson, you will begin to learn basic terminology and phrases that will help you to find your way around
- More vocabulary for everyday use, including names of Thai money, names of fruits, name of vegetables, name of foods and name of refreshments
- Ordering food: You will learn how to order different types of Thai food and learn more sentence patterns useful in a restaurant
- Shopping: learn how to bargain for better prices and lower prices
- Learn about sky train
- Dialogues & expanding conversations
This Thai language course is available either in phonetic or in Thai written language.
This is normally delivered at our Thai Language School, 43 Sukhumvit Road, Bangkok.
