Thai Language Course Bangkok - Advanced Course

The Advanced Course is a 30 hour study course.

Advanced Course Content Includes:

• Telephone calls: You will learn how to ask for someone on the telephone and other basic telephone sentence patterns
• Receiving Thai guests at home
• The foreigner with Thai food
• Learn about Thai classifiers and how to use
• Making hotel reservations
• Traveling in Thailand: You will learn how to talk about things that happened to you while traveling around Thailand. You will also learn to ask for information about where the best places to go are in Thai Language
• Thai culture and Thai traditional activities
• Giving instructions to staff

This Thai Language course is available in phonetic and Thai written language. It is recommended that students attaining this level should endeavour to master the Thai written language.Why? An example - a farang with good speaking knowledge had to locate a shop in Bangkok. After an hour of searching he was completely frustrated. He  had asked for directions but they did not make sense to him. He eventually asked a motorcycle taxi driver where the shop was. The taxi driver looked at him as if he was stupid and pointed across the pavement to the shop. The shop sign and advertising were in Thai only - he had walked past the shop several times and had not registered it. The previous instructions were correct and had sent him back and forth past the shop. The moral here is, whereas possessing the ability to speak Thai is good, a little written Thai can go a long way to understanding the world around you here in Thailand!This course is normally delivered at our Thai Language School 43 Sukhumvit Road, Bangkok.
