We have just got through the Festive Season and have crept back to work having had time off to think about the future. Reflecting for most of us, this has been a challenging year with the forces of the world economy restricting commercial options and job opportunities. For a lot of us it has been a time to dig into savings to see our way through. Looking forward let us hope this economic winter is passing. The professional way to approach the slowdown is to plan well and invest for a good future; turn the bad into good and the weaknesses into strengths. This and a pinch of luck and well, it can only get better!
On the planning note for all of you living or planning to live in Thailand one of the best ways to invest in a foreign location is to spend time learning the language. It opens up so many doors both on a communication and cultural level and can show employers a commitment to Thailand and to your job here.

We have students from all over the world studying here in Bangkok. This is Khun Jim Benedetto an American from Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands with Kruu Oo.
